About Sasha

Drawn initially to the physical aspect of yoga over 20 years ago, my journey has so far led me through different styles including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Jivamukti and brought me to the classical strength and flexibility-building practice I enjoy today. Moving beyond the physical I have experienced yoga's benefits in so many aspects of life and believe that everyone has this capacity within them. Delighted to discover that all the resources we need to help us in life are within us, I have been inspired to explore the connection we all share. Yoga has helped me to trust in myself, and if you haven't tried yoga I would urge you to give it a go and see what happens!

I am a BWY accredited 500 hour teacher, having completed Teacher Trainings and Advanced Teacher Training at Triyoga London, with the highly esteemed teachers Anna Ashby, Joey Miles, and Jean Hall, among others. I have studied Yoga for PTSD at The Minded Institute, and enjoy volunteering for the charity Ourmala, which provides healing yoga and other services to refugees and survivors of trafficking and modern day slavery.

I have been blessed with teachers I admire (whether in yoga, parenting, friendship, thoughtfulness... the unlikeliest of people can become teachers in life) and every time I am most inspired by what those teachers have shared from their heart. I try to remain true to this as I share what I have learned.
